A Story of Getting the Most Out of Life
About Me:

Blasting Full Speed Down An Unknown Path

My name’s Matt. I come from the east coast, where most people are only interested in clocking in, clocking out, and maybe having a beer or 12 on the weekends. I moved west and discovered that traveling, following your dreams, and exploring everything life has to offer isn’t just for rich people without responsibilities. Anyone can take advantage of every moment of their life, they just need the confidence required to stand on the gas pedal and get where they want to go!
Social media is great, but alot of my adventures end up as TL;DR, so this is a great outlet to showcase my adventures in type format, with some pictures thrown in. Enjoy!

Redo Beetle
About this time last year, I was stuck in this weird Nostalgic/ Deja vu vortex. In November and December, I found myself on the same base, stuck in a barracks room, with nothing to do but work out and play old video games, just like in 2007 after I left bootcamp. I was in the… Read more

Wnderer No More.
Wanderer: A person who travels aimlessly aim-less-ly When I first got my instagram, I, being a millennial from the before times, when you would never use your REAL name on the internet, usually a clever handle and some obscure but specific numbers, called my instagram account Mxz1KawiDoo. It was a smooshed together combination of MXZ-… Read more

Leveling Up Is Depressing
Life Update: I’ve been feeling pretty depressed this summer. Dating, finances, general health, the death of my mother, the weight of my life as it sits brought me pretty low late July to early August. I kept having dreams of calling my mom on the phone. HIEE Honeyyyyyy I’d hear in my dreams. I’d force… Read more

One year ago Today
I got fired for the first time in my life a year ago today, September 14th, 2022. I’m honestly still not ok with how it all happened. I asked for help. I said it didn’t look right. I was told to shut the fuck up and “it was fine, I’ve done this a hundred times… Read more

5 years ago today
This popped up on my facebook feed this week. As with most of my blog posts, they tend to be photo captions that end up TL;DR. (convenient for some, because they don’t even have to click the link in order to be shamed for not reading my long ass caption) You, however, get the good… Read more

The Stale Crow
Okay okay okay. My facebook post was a little rushed and not *quite* representative of how I truly feel. You’ve been there. Something exciting happens like your daughter is born and the only thing you can think of to say is “great, can we get breakfast now?” -my dad, when my little sister was born… Read more

Too Long; Didn’t Read.
This started off as an Instagram post, but the caption ended up too long. Which is why I started this writing thing in the first place. If you’ve been reading my stories at all this year, there’s been a lot of discussion (by me. I’m discussing with myself) about racing. Racing dirtbikes, to be specific.… Read more

Part One: The Three Forty 600. The Three Part Story of the Baja- Nevada
“Allison’s going to ironwoman it.” Oh really? Checking my text conversation I just had with her. Her, moments ago: “Yea let’s team up. 600 miles is alot, but 300 each is a nice taste of long distance desert racing like we’ll see in Baja. We can ride the 450x!” Poor Josh. Hindsight is always 20/20,… Read more
